Dirge, biologically, looks like his brother——but mirrored——for the most part despite being fraternal twins. The defining features that Alucard has on his right side (such as moles and polydactyly), Dirge has on his left. They share the same slender, rectangular body type and their most significant differences are found on their face. Dirge has sharper features and a more prominent bone structure as well as a pronounced cupid’s bow.

Dirge’s hair is also quite straight but it can hold a wave or curl if he decides to style it with heat.

On his right side, a huge chunk is missing from his torso from a close-range shotgun blast. To hold his organs in place, metal plating is erected in a cage-like structure. It’s not very well-taken care of so the metal is rusted and painful. Dirge refers to it as armor as he fitted elongated spikes. Sometimes the plating falls out of place and the wound gapes open, with his insides spilling out. Even when fitted back into place, the tear-zone is often raw and oozes. Close to the wound is a branching scar that stretches in the general trend of a linear slope from his chest to his waist. His back is very heavily scarred which makes an image of a network of alchemical symbols. On his left leg, traces of a matching tattoo (with his brother, of course) are evident but crudely covered by another geometric strip of scars.

Usually you can see his double eyelids because his eyes are very dead / kept at a half-lidded stare but they're quite hooded. His eyelids are translucent so you can see his entire iris, which is naturally red but he usually wears brown contacts, under a light. In other places where his skin is stretched thin, unusually-shaped fractals of blue veins can be very visible. His teeth enamel is eroded to the point where one can guage his tongue placement.

His style in terms of clothing is archival fashion. Balenciaga, Rick Owens, Maison Margiela and especially Yohji Yamamoto. Usually wears monochrome. He keeps his nails relatively short but sharpened. His ears are usually adorn with some statement piece of a piercing. He has a couple small scars from previous facial piercings that he's tried as a young teenager and adult.

Dirge acts like hate and anger are the only things imprinted into every nerve of his being but will then go on a endless but fruitless circumventions to protect humanity. He doesn't really believe himself, or in humans for that fact but he's so despairingly trying to justify what he did to his brother, his father, his mother, his gods. It's pretext, sorta. Shitty, unconvincing pretext that he's forced himself to swallow and now live.

Painfully antisocial, he spends most of his time brooding (sulking). Difficult to talk to, actually, it's pretty easy to get him to go on one of his long-winded monologues but he speaks in such a cryptic and vague manner that you're going to have a hard time gauging any meaning or sense. He's particularily edgy and revels in emotional turmoil. He's not like most loner archetypes that operate with a level-headed businesslike indifference, he's quite volatile and will butt in with his own blunt opinion. This makes people regard him as, well, a cold-hearted prick and makes his solitude less... voluntary.

The most important thing to him is his twin brother. He's failed Alucard time and time again and that pattern doesn't seem to be breaking anytime soon. It's destroying Dirge from the inside out, honestly. The easiest, and most tempting way out? Killing them both. If only Dirge could conjure the guts to do that, but that's his brother, his baby brother that still looks at him with so much admiration.

The most hurtful phrase you could say to him is: "You're just like your father." Dirge was born with the great misfortune of looking more like his baba, the evilest man he knows. What's worse is that he feels disgusting for being raised with love, care, and gentleness by the man, at least to the extent that the vampire knew of those concepts. Maybe Dirge is upset that his father tried his best for him. Dirge hates any and every sign of resemblance he has with the man. He legitimately stopped going to therapy after being diagnosed with the same disorders his father had.

• Will sometimes go to extreme lengths to get a laugh with his fucked up sense of humor (suffering of those he doesn't like). He'll chuff, amused, at a silly drawing of his enemy drawn as an ugly toad or something but what will get him to cackle like an absolute maniac (which, by the way, is probably the most scariest laugh you'll ever witness) is if a C4 is planted on their desk. But like, that's it. He won't laugh at any other form of humor.
• If having the most depressing bachelor's pad was an award, he'd win. The peak of male living spaces, it is absolutely BARREN, not even furnished. Just a mattress on the floor beside a.... portable butane stove??
• Actually, open his closet and you'll find where all the personality in his house went. It is STUFFED full of pieces and offers an explanation as to why he is always ABSOLUTELY BROKE ! ! !
• Situs inversus; the anatomy of his insides are completely mirrored. His heart being on his right side has actually saved his life once (gestures nondiscretely to his scar).
• Sometimes he's just... vacant from his body. He stays so still and when he's sleeping, nobody can tell whether he's dead or still alive.
• While all vampires can "throw their voices", Dirge is particularily good at it. One of his talents is he can make those minecraft cave ambience noises that makes you feel like you're seriously in a horror game.
• Vocal chords have been irreparably damaged from when he was younger, trying to replicate his favorite singer's vocal style. Sometimes, he'll be on one of his tirades and it's like, bro, you aren't making ANY sound.
• Wears glasses occasionally when outside in professional settings to look more older and like a tenured professor.
• Absolutely desensitized to sudden frights. Will never flinch from a jumpscare. Actually, he rarely even flinches at all, even in pain. He just... takes it??
